Analda Shepherd has been certified as an aquatics instructor for over 20 years. An, as her friends and family call her, has developed programs for many types of clientele; however, she is most passionate when working with youth, elderly, under privileged and those with movement disorders. Her experience has allowed her to be an Aquatics Director for many different organizations including school districts, Y.M.C.A's, and Camps.
Analda was the recipient of the 2004 WaterART Fitness Internationals and Hydropool Business Award. She is currently building a pool addition onto her home based business called Shepherds Wishing Well, LLC. There she will offer warm water based programs for those in specialized populations.
An has been certified with the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard & C.P.R. for the Professional Rescuer Instructor; Arthritis Foundations Aquatic Program for Adults and Juvenile Leader; Boy Scouts of America National Camp School Certified Aquatics Director and Merit Badge Counselor; Y.M.C.A. Aerobics Instructor, Lifeguard, Preschool & Progressive Swimming Instructor; WaterART Fitness International Fundamentals Instructor, Specialized Populations Instructor, Personal Training Specialist, Aquatic Rehabilitation Specialist, Arthritis Instructor, Parkinson's Instructor and Weight Management Consultant.
Analda is an active wife and mother of three great children. Both An and her Husband John, a 100% Disabled Retired United States Marine, are involved in their childrens' school, are Girl Scout Leaders, Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders and Lions Club Members. In November 2003, they also had a Kidney Transplant with John receiving An's Left Kidney.
