It seems like I've heard it all
before
You never know what's behind each door
One closes and a part of you will end
But soon another opens and then
You find your life is better now
It makes you stop and wonder how He knew
Jesus I don't understand but everything I do I do for You
I think I've been down this road
before
I give and take but take even more
That's not how I want my life to be
But somehow the world takes hold of me
I know that's not the way to live
To plant a seed you've got to give what's due
Jesus help me understand so everything I do I do for You
I pray to God that I may know the
truth
Jesus help me live my life for You
Lord help me know what I should do
And give me strength to find my way to You
And as the years keep passing
slowly by
I pray that I will live until I die
And follow the path You laid for me
By being all You made me to be
Someday may I see Your face
For Heaven is my final place it's true
Jesus I will understand and everything I do I do for You
Jesus let me understand that everything I do I do for You
