Mission
Statement
It
is the mission of the Sandy Point Alliance to be persistent in our aggressive pursuit for the resolution of issues at Sandy Point,
and other areas within the boundaries of the Lummi Reservation, that adversely
affect the pursuit of our happiness and enjoyment or our properties. These
issues include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.
To oppose any and all proposed imposition of Tribal jurisdiction of our properties including taxation, zoning, and withholding of water or other
rights legally transferred to us by our deeds.
2. To pursue the enhancement and protection of our harbor entrance and the
harbor itself.
3. To search for and pursue the enhancement and protection of the beaches, and
other lands threatened for any reason, at Sandy Point, including Sandy Points
Heights, Neptune Beach, and other sub-divisions and/or other related properties.
4. To search for voluntary assistance from government and other parties to achieve
these goals, but if such assistance is not forth coming, then to aggressively
pursue them for relief thru the courts.
