Classes:
I teach many classes, both online at www.QuiltUniversity.com (see Quilt University Class Schedule below) and in the physical world, notably regularly at the Dublin Senior Center, 7500 Amador Valley Blvd., in Dublin. This class is taught through the Amador Adult School, and is free to all older adults. I also teach regularly at Eddie's Quilting Bee in Sunnyvale, CA, and at various other locations around the country. | Note: QuiltUniversity classes are interactive, online classes where you can print out or download the information, the participate in online discussions with other members of the class, share photographs of your work in progress, and have a great time. Look on this website for the Filament Fantasy and Elements Workshop classes. In addition, the People in Places class explores how to change a photograph into a fabric wallhanging, the Seascape Vest leads you through the process of creating the vest shown in the Wearables section of this website, and the Mermaid Lagoon workshop does the same thing for the Mermaid Lagoon jacket also shown on the wearables page of this website. The Landscape Sampler class is a comprehensive 12-week class designed to take you from traditional quiltmaking to more contemporary quiltmaking, as you work through the design and begin to feel free enough to begin to add your own special touches to this landscape quilt. |
