NC ST Reporting Policy

To help make reporting less tedious, I will be supplying a revised report template.  It should be a little easier to read and fill out.

If everyone uses this template it will make reporting easier at all levels from the VST, the DST, the ARSTs, and myself, the RST.  My goal is to make something easier to follow, easier to complete, and easier to get done on time.

If all reports are done in the same format, the next level Storyteller can fill out their report easier by being able to copy and paste sections of the previous levels report.

All reports must cross the us-nc-st-reports list.  This goes for all Levels of reporting: VST, DST, ARST, and the RST reports.  If I don't see your report there, then it will not be counted as received or on time.  If a report is not in the correct format and it is not easy to read, the report will be counted as incomplete.   Incomplete reports will be viewed as late reports in regards to any on time reporting policy.  This means if your report has not been received by the us-nc-st-reports list or if it is in the incorrect format you will not be eligible for the national 6-month award or the regional on time awards.   The reports list can be found at http://cammail.white-wolf.com/mailman/listinfo/us-nc-st-reports.

Also, as a back up place to send reports, please use ncstreports@gmail.com.  Please do not send them to any other email address of mine.

To help track reporting, I will be adopting a system similar to what is used on the Coordinator side.  All Storytellers will start in "Green" status.  If they have failed to report for two months they will be placed in "Yellow" status.  At that time, I personally will review their prestige awards to determine if the award is too high for an officer who is ignoring one of the basic functions of the office.  After three months pass with no reports being received from a Storyteller, they will be placed in "Red" status. That officer will receive no prestige for that month.   Also, no approvals will be approved for that location.  If a VST does not report for three months, then low approvals or higher will no longer be granted for that venue.   If the DST does not report for three months, then those characters in the domain will not be granted mid or high approvals.  After the forth month, the officer has still not filed a report.   The Storyteller will be placed in "Black" status and steps will be taken to remove that Storyteller from office.  If at any time a report is filed, they will be immediately placed in "Green" status.

Because reporting is the most basic function of the Storyteller, Storytellers who do not report are doing an injustice to their players.

This policy will help information flow smoothly on the storyteller side of the chain.  Also, reports need to be written in the correct format and sent to the regional us-nc-st-reports list as well as the ncstreports@gmail.com address.
