CLASSES/WORKSHOPS
6
week classes (1 hour a week), 2 hour workshops, and presentations available
at various venues in the Greater Sacramento Area or in your home. Also able to tailor
classes to fit your specific needs. Can be geared toward parents, educators,
babies, toddlers, and school-age children. Class specifics listed below.

’SIGNING
FUN BEGINNER' CLASSES ($ 80.00 per family):
Classes are 1 hour a week for 6 weeks and are geared toward parents who
would like to begin using signing with their babies/children. Classes are
based on Dr. Joseph Garcia’s SIGN with your BABY™ program and include
showing parents how to introduce signs and incorporate them into daily life,
as well as lots of activities, stories, and songs to use with their
children. There will be lots of time to practice using signs and to interact
with your baby and other parents/babies. Weekly themes covered in class
include: first signs, snack & mealtime, bath & body, diapering,
clothes & dressing, and bedtime. Class includes book and parent folder
filled with handouts. Next session begins on March 5!!! Register Now!!!

SIGNING FUN’ LEVEL 2 CLASSES ($ 70.00 per family):
Classes are one hour a week for 6 weeks and are geared toward parents who
have taken the ’Signing Fun Beginner' class. We will do many more
activities, stories, and songs to use with children as well as lots of
practicing signs. Weekly themes covered in class include: favorite animals,
family, colors, emotions, play time, and nature & weather. Class includes
handouts to be added to parent folder.

IN-HOME
CLASSES/WORKSHOPS:
If you can gather at least 3 families, I may be able to hold the classes or a
workshop in the comfort of your home. Gather at least 5 families in your home
for the classes or workshop and receive 50% off the normal class fees for
the host family. Gather at least 7 families in your home and the host
family's fee will be waived.
GROUP
WORKSHOPS ($ 25.00 per family):
Group workshops of 90 minutes - 2 hours are available at a venue provided by
you (home, day care, or other location) for $ 25.00 per family (minimum of
four families to hold workshop). Workshops can be tailored to fit your
specific needs, age ranges, etc. and can be geared toward families, child
care providers, etc. Email for specific pricing information for child
care provider workshops.
LOCATION, MATERIALS, & PAYMENT:
Depending
on number of participants, classes are either held Messiah Lutheran Church near
I-80 and Antelope Blvd., or at Emma' house (about 2.5 miles from the
church location).
SIGN
with your BABY™ materials as well as a variety of other signing products are
available for purchase through the class at a discounted rate. Credit
cards accepted for purchases over $50.00 and will be charged $3.00 to cover
the credit card processing fee.
PREPAYMENT
by is required at time of registration to hold your spot in the
class and order your book/materials. SPACE IS LIMITED, SO REGISTER EARLY!!
