Diana's Site

*UNDER CONSTRUCTION STARTING 2/11/06*

04/04/06 We have come home from Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh (Monroeville, Pa.) and have been trying to unpack and get everything put where it belongs. We have also got some new additions to my house so if you see me online and I don't respond, that's why. Don't ask what happened... just know that no one has a new baby, it's all regular people who have just been relocated. I will be working on the Tekkoshocon pictures site in a little while. I think there's like 10 pictures, if that, but they will eventually make it onto their own page. There isn't really anything of value for the site. I'll just leave it off. If you want to see them, they will be accessable in my Tekkoshocon Yahoo Album or my Tekkoshocon 2006 Comcast Snapfish Album. The viideo can be accessed at a later date. Just ask me and I'll give it to you! And the big quote from the convention...

"Argh, I'm Christian, I can't fit in the car because I bought too much pornography!" - Diana about Christian

02/11/06 I updated a lot of things, pulled a lot of things, and fixed some stuff. I wanted to spend some time working on the site during the off season for hockey for 2 weeks while they're doing the Olympics. I also wanted to get this stuff taken care of before the new convention schedule started and maybe put some pictures up from Jessie's house in Delaware. I want to do an "Ode to Jessie's House" page eventually. It will end up being our outlet for cons we don't attend *like Katsucon this year because we just can't afford it, and we don't like the area very much. Way too hoitey toiety of a hotel also.* I'm going to ask Jessie if she knows how to work on the more technologically crafty things for the site, but for now you have to deal with it in it's primitive form. SORRY!!

01/20/06 I guess it's about time I update huh? I had a wonderful Christmas and birthday. I got a new seat in my car for my birthday and a new CD/MP3 player for Christmas. *Thanks so much Momma and Daddy* Rob got some clothes, a PSP, and some other things. Nothing new really to report.

9/15/05 A quick funny... Rob said this today "She's such a slut it's like throwing a hot dog down a hallway."

9/6/05 We had a wonderful time in Delaware... except for a few things... like underage people acting their age. Gotta hate when that happens! Aside from that, nothing really to report other than the booking for the hotel for Tekkoshocon (I can't put a link right now cause their site is down!).

8/21/05 So I took a drive down to Otakon last night... nothing all that exciting. Alot of people seemed pretty unhappy. You know what the sadder part was? I had more fun at this Otakon than any other. I didn't even set foot in the convention center, didn't stay in the hotel, wasn't out front of the convention center for more than 30 minutes, and I drove over to my friend's house for a few hours and drove home. It's funny I think. With all the years I have been going to Otakon, and not doing anything at the con made it better! Jessie and Mike pretty much ditched us. Justin on the other hand actually talked to Rob for a bit... which was the reason for us going down there to being with... other than looking for Mr. Death Wish and seeing my friends.

On another note: work is good, cosplays are being decided on currently, preparations for AnimeUSA are being worked out, and there are a few odds and ends being taken care of for future conventions. I have some ideas as to how to help us all in that area.

There's a Labor Day weekend party at Jessie's beach house in Delaware. At this point it looks like fun in the sun, cosplay work, and hopefully some comic work!

The AMV (Kuwabara's Too Sexy) has been produced and is now on disk form off my computer! This comes with much thanks to my Uncle Bob who left some software at my house for me to "try out." I never really tried it more than importing my file from Adobe and exporting it to disk. Good enough for me!! Look for Singing Kirby Studios to be creating many more things to come!

7/18/05 Connecticon is complete now. For the next few days I will be working on the Connecticon page. As for right now, there isn't anything posted yet. I have also gotten a job and now hold a Keyholder position at Piercing Pagoda Plus in Oxford Valley Mall. It's a nice place and all is well there so far. My training will be complete (training is never complete, but they're letting me have the store to my lonesome) on Friday July 29th. I have to do Piercing University and then I should be free and clear. They're gonna let me loose on ears and let me put holes in them! I'm actually excited about that! Holes are cool!

6/22/05 So everyone enjoyed AnimeNEXT... but me. I was bored most of the weekend and most of the things that everyone did (which was not much) included the dealers room, masquerade, video game room, and the dance (which was only one night). I think I took two cosplay pictures one was a different Adult Koenma (a blurry shot if you wanna see it just ask) and one of the baby Shippou. I did get my Shippou bag finally, including a little Shippou pin and I also got my Inu pin that I had been wanting to get for a while. I bought Rob a Trunks pin for Father's day and he bought himself the Koenma keychain. Jessie went on a spending spree and got a bunch of stuff including a Momiji plush and an Ed from FMA (I only know who it is cause I asked) Mike and Jaybo both seemed to have a great time, no complaints from the gallery. Rob thoroughly enjoyed himself also. With having to delete the countdown to AnimeNEXT I removed the countdown to my birthday because I like the line of only two countdowns at a time instead of three. All in all, I guess being so close to home was a good thing? Granted I would have rather been at AMA, but it's not like I get a choice anymore. It's just "drive me to con here, come to con here, go to con here... " I figure with the shortness and lack of pictures from the con itself I will not bother to make a page for this convention. Maybe Connecticon (if we go) will have people cosplaying as people I want pictures of. I'm really tired of seeing Naruto characters and I actually wish it would just get made already here so people would boycott it like they do with One Piece.

On a cosplay note, Rob is again contemplating a cosplay that isn't what we decided on for this year. I guess yet again I do not get my chance to decide what we wear! He wants to do Ness, I wanna do Ice Climbers... guess he'll be making his own cosplay this year huh?

5/25/05 I saw this on a site and wanted to share! -> A lawyer defending a man accused of burglary tried this creative defense: "My client merely inserted his arm into the window and removed a few trifling articles. His arm is not himself, and I fail to see how you can punish the whole individual for an offense committed by his limb." "Well put," the judge replied. "Using your logic, I sentence the defendant's arm to one year's imprisonment. He can accompany it or not, as he chooses." The defendant smiled. With his lawyer's assistance he detached his artificial limb, laid it on the bench, and walked out.

5/19/05 I found a fun place to have countdowns! I have them at the top of the page from now on!!

5/13/05 Lauren's Birthday was today... she got the White Rabbit for her 17th birthday... hope she enjoys it!! I had issues today so in order to make myself feel better... I made an icon for all those Yuyu Hakusho fans out there who absolutely love Yoko Kurama (or white fox Kurama.) You have to love it!!

4/20/05 Rob complained for the last time. I'm sick and tired of his complaining about the "drive" to Anime Mid-Atlantic. He isn't the one who drives it, I am! All he has to do is sit there, fiddle with the radio, read some signage, and check the directions once in a while. What is so hard about that? Obviously this means I won't be seeing Greg to apologize for not saying goodbye at Katsucon because of what happened. It also means I won't be seeing Jessie... this upsets me almost as much as not seeing Greg.

*GREG - if you're reading this, I miss you!! I wish I could get there, but it just so happens there is another convention that weekend which is only 45 minutes from my house. Rob won't let me go to Richmond, but instead I have to go to Secaucus, Nj. You better be at my birthday party at AnimeUSA though. At least be outside hanging out.*

This means that I cancelled the reservations for the convention and there might be a place for you to get them. I know I had the convention rate and all, 3 nights, Thursday to Sunday, but I'm sure they're probably booked already. There is also the Days Inn right around the corner that you should try if you are looking for a place to stay down there. This is very close by, cheap, and the convention hotel has free parking, as does the Days Inn. I think its the Days Inn Richmond-Chesterfield. Might be Midlothian. Can't remember.

I also found this webcomic on someone's signature for the AnimeNEXT forums. It's fantastic and amazing. I love it!! I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that there is a sheep in it. *grin* right, nothing at all! I added the banner. When I figure out how to do that, I'll add it better also! I'm currently working on how to do it, but I did get permission from the artist to use it so here it is! Seeming as I cannot get the linking thinger to work yet the link is Count Your Sheep.

Today is also Hilter's birthday. We celebrated a little bit today by making a special away message just for him, and I have been watching some video online about his history and all. I wish the History Channel would show some Hitler stuff, but knowing them, they won't. Hitler would have been 116 today, if he lived that long! He was born in 1889 and if you didn't know, the new Pope was a part of the "Hitler Youth." Glücklicher Geburtstag meine Führer!

The information for AnimeNEXT can be found on their site here. As of right now, Rob, Mike, Jaybo, and I are going. There's a possibility that Jeremy could come up to visit during the weekend. Hopefully I will have fun. I don't think I will.

4/1/05 Got the site up and working now. Had a little help from my friends. Jessie worked really really hard to help me out. I thank her a lot. I'll have to make a page just for her seeming as I feel like I owe her. The ceiling in my house has been ripped out and replaced over the past few days. The insulation has been itching the crap out of our family. My face felt like it was sunburnt and I gained the new nickname of "Chicken Little." They dropped a piece of drywall on my head. Talk about the sky falling! Today is also Mike's birthday, Randy Orton's birthday, and April Fool's Day! Talk about a triple threat! Thank god I only have to buy presents for one those three.

3/22/05 New site workings. I decided to sit down and try out this new program. Hopefully this works out well. If not, I'll have to go back to using the crap Comcast gives me to work with.

2/09/05 Nothing really exciting right now. Just waiting for Katsucon. We're all excited and freaking out! There's also a birthday party happening Thursday night at con. I will be making a page of that with the pictures and the invitations. It won't be put up until after we come home from con. There's also this approaching holiday that people seem to be excited about... except for me. I don't like Valentine's Day really at all.

1/01/05 Well, it's a new year. There has been a lot going on here, but most of it is bad news so we're not going to talk about it. I put up a summary for AnimeUSA and one on the Kosaikon Pictures and Summary. There have also been a lot of developments in the Chris Sabat petition site. I will make a new site just for our correspondence. Depending on who you are, you believe he actually wrote to us. Some think it's someone playing a prank, but with all the time and effort this person spend, we here believe it's actually Chris. There is an emails page where you can read all of the emails that were written between us. The Chris Sabat Petition Page has also been updated for those of you interested. On to further notes.

Convention news: We are excited about Katsucon on the 18-20 of Feb. We will be staying at the Marriott Crystal Gateway or the Gateway Crystal Marriott (depends on what you look at as to it's name).

We are definitely going to Kosaikon on Saturday the 26th of March. Should be a nice little convention for a spring tone. Villanova University is beautiful and I'm hoping the weather will be nice like it was last time.
There is also no question that we will be at Anime Mid-Atlantic the 17-19 of June. We are excited about that convention also.

We will not be attending Otakon this year. I repeat. WE WILL NOT BE GOING TO OTAKON! Too much crap has gone on with that convention that we are just completely skipping it. Last year we didn't do anything at the convention center at all. They have become so corporate that it's not worth going for us. Also the entire staff decided they wanted to book the whole Days Inn Inner Harbor hotel this year. So seeming as I cannot afford much more than what the Days offers me, I can't do that convention now. I'm also not going to go to a new hotel after I have been going to that hotel since Otakon moved to Baltimore. Just isn't right.

In order to compensate for us missing Otakon we're contemplating flying to Connecticon this year for a change. A new convention in a new convention center in a new hotel. Sounds kinda... dare I say it... NEW! I think Connecticon is the first convention that center is holding and I think the hotel opens a few days before. Should be neat!
Dates and things will be updated. I don't think there are any funnies this time.

Costume information: Cid and Belle have been scrapped. I am in the process of creating the patterns for Masked Fighter and Adult Koenma. More information on that later though!

11/01/04 AnimeUSA was really really really cool! The page for Pictures and Summary is up. No summary because I am still recovering from the convention! We also got wrestling tickets for RAW on November 27th and I am going to see George Carlin on the 6th. There are 26 days until the RAW and 18 until my birthday. Enjoy the new page!

10/13/04 Kosaikon was great. The pictures page took longer than usual because I have been sick. The page is the and that is the best update I can give for right now. Rob got a promotion at work. He makes more money to break stuff!

09/07/04 Nothing really good going on. Watching a lot of wrestling going on right now. Randy Orton became the champion, new theme song, and looking absolutely gorgeous as usual. The difference is that each week on Monday Night RAW he'll do something, then they'll replay it 4 times over the course of the week. Newer pictures and information on Randy Orton can be found on WWE's website or by searching his name on yahoo!
There has also been news on the convention front. First there is Anime USA. Rob and I are definitely going. Sham should be coming to the floor space. I don't know that anyone else will be coming with us, but hey, all are welcome for some parties.

If you haven't already been informed, Kosaikon is is having a second convention this year. The convention is October 9th 2004 at Villanova University.

We are also all ready for Katsucon. We have booked our room, and so far there are a few people who are coming for our floor space. Their website is definitely lacking in the good stuff, and I can't seem to access their forums for some reason.
Any other information will be accessable through my livejournal.

On news for the new costumes: Rob will be Cid Highwind from Kingdom Hearts as I will be using my Belle Halloween costume. I love that thing so damn much that I will never pass up the chance to wear it! :)

08/02/04 All there is right now is that I made the. That is all for updates today. More later!!

07/20/04 Well, there have not been many posts here lately. A lot of things going on. Went to the shore... well I guess that is about it. I went on vacation and I am just getting back into the swing of things. There have been a lot of updates on the convention websites. This is exciting because of the fact that there are only 9 days left until Otakon. Life has been pretty tough these past few weeks waiting for Otakon to come. I also got a Gamecube in the mail. I won it down the shore, but they didn't have any left. They sent it to me and it came this morning while I was at work. My mom had to call and say the famous catch phrase in my house "You got a package. Can I open it?" It usually leads to a big fat NO, but this time it was allowed! I guess I should get back to doing the things online that are important like.

Happy Birthday Carolina!
Miss Caro-chan is leaving us to go to Japan. We will miss her lots. Unfortunately I will only see her for one day before she leaves for the other world. It's okay, we still have LJ!

06/27/04 We have come to this new conclusion. Chris Sabat sucks... Plain and simple. "I have no idea who he is," you say? "I hate him too and want to get rid of him," you say? Both things can be taken care of. Help us! We have started a petition to get him fired. His voice drives us to drink, literally! I'm sick of Rob trying to get drunk just because he can't stand listening to Vegeta, or Kuwabara. We all know Rob can't get drunk, so you see our dilemma! If you are interested, please email you name for our petition to my email address at the bottom of the page. To view the petition, see. Your email will be saved and your name will be added to the petition eventually. Please put "Chris Sabat Petition" in the subject line!

06/16/04 Nothing important to update. More or less moving some things around. Sham has a nice set of pictures for his website. I could definitely post his little art work site link on here. Sham is the best!

5/30/04 The website has been updated. The is all ready for people to check out. Also you can check out my Yahoo Photo Album for the same pictures and maybe a few extras!

5/23/04 Both Magmas are complete. You can find the pictures on th. All progress and shots that were on this page have been moved there to save space. Not many updates other than my mother got a new car! This in turn means that I get her old car. Just because it is an older version of the brand new one she got, does not mean it is not as good. It is lacking a few things that will be attended to now that it is in my possession, like adding my head unit to it. All in all, it is an improvement on my old car, put it that way! Pictures of the new car are on the. My Celica will have it's own page as soon as it's not so hot as to not be able to take pictures of it. Also an important update, we are still going to AMA and possibly Anime Next in NJ. Also added .

5/08/04 I finished all of my Magma, but I still have to do more of Robs. See below for the picture of mine. All that is left of his is the arm and leg things and the extreme task of finding another pair of black gloves. Should be the "barking up the tree" of the costume. I thought I had that completed before, but Rob never found the other glove to match the one he had. Now I have to find another pair... and we all know how hard this is going to be! Not much to update, see my LJ for more information on recent events!
