THE SUMMARY: After a long long night of drinking, bs-ing, and partying at the diner we awoke crappy and groggy at 7am. I packed the cooler, we put our Magmas on, and we were out the door. We hit the McDonalds roll through and at the window they forgot my damn hashbrown. I was pissed and yelled at them. Got the hashbrown and hit Wawa for a soda. As Rob grabbed in the McD bag to get my sandwich he said "hmm, squishy." I was not happy when I was told that my sandwich was wrong. I drove back to the McD and went inside. I was quite pissed off at this point and many racial and colored slurs came out of mouth when I went in there. Here, the person who took my order, took it wrong! So I yelled at that person too! After 15 a few minutes of me screaming at these people, they gave me what I asked for and I kept the previously wrong sandwich for Rob to eat later. I got back in the car and down the road to the Turnpike.
We got off at Mid-County and went down to Villanova. I drove right past the street I was supposed to turn on saying, "Oops, I was supposed to turn there." I did a U and came back and parked in the lot. Rob and I put the finishing touches on our costumes and headed for the campus. Knowing where I was headed, I went right for the building that I wrote on the paper. I didn't know where in the building I was supposed to go, but a wonderful woman was leaving the building as we entered and she pointed us in the right direction. It was small and nice. After we got our badges, I signed up for the Mario Kart Double Dash torney, as did Rob. We hung out in the video game room the whole time. We played all the games and I watched the rolly game. Rob said it's called something, but I can't remember (I'm just feeling a little better after having the flu so this isn't going to be the best convention page yet!)
At 11:00am the MKDD torney begun. Rob and I were first against two other people. We came in first and second respectivly. I can't remember what the first track was, but we both beat them good!
The second match was on Rainbow Road. I came in first and Rob didn't do so well. He claims the "Wavebird Wireless" wasn't working properly.
The third and final round was Baby Park and I laped the competition. I was finished and they were still on the 5th of 7 laps. Rob was saying that the person running the torney already proclaimed my winning before we started the last round. I got this beautiful Yoshi shown below in the pictures.
At 3:00pm we went up to the photo shoot room for the cosplay contest. They didn't have enough prizes or we could have won 3rd place. I guess it pisses me off and it doesn't. Oh well. There was no dealers room or anything, but it was really awesome all the same. So all in all it was a good convention!
THE PICTURES: The first picture I have is of a Shadow Link, Link, Chibi Zelda, a girl (damn I wish I knew who she was), and a Zelda. The rest are from the cosplay contest. Their names excape me or their series because I don't know any of them. The ones who won will be labled. Their names and series will be stolen from the Kosaikon website because I know they will be correct!
