Classroom Rules - Mr. Siren

I am here for you to succeed and to enjoy this class. So because I care about all of you, I will not allow you to do anything that will interfere with your success or the success of others trying to learn. Nor will I allow you to do anything that will interfere with all of us having an enjoyable year. So that we can learn and I can teach, I have a set of rules to ensure we have an orderly classroom:

Show respect for each other.
Come to class prepared.
Study and do your own work.
No food or drink
Follow all rules in the student handbook.

If You Choose to Break a Rule:

First time: Name on board. Warning.
Second time: One check: 15 minutes after school on Thursday
Third time: Two checks: 30 minutes after school on Thursday and parents called.
Fourth time: Three checks: 45 minutes after school on Thursday and parents called.
Fifth time: Four checks: 60 minutes after school on Thursday, written note to office, parents called and student sent to office
Severe disruption: Student sent immediately to office and parents called.

Consequences of Following Rules:

Encouragement from your teacher and your fellow students.
A positive note or phone call home.
An enjoyable, interesting, and challenging class.
