Recently formed in January of 2002, South Jersey Division of The G.I. Joe Collector's Club is seeking new recruits to it's membership. Our group meets once a month in Mays Landing and our members come from a wide area in South Jersey. From Burlington County to Cape May County, we want to recruit as many members that are willing to join. If you collect G.I Joe's or 12" Action figures and enjoy building dioramas or just want to meet with other people who have the same passions for collecting action figures, please call to join the club. The G.I. Joe Collector's Club of South Jersey is a recognized member, in good standing, with Hasbro and The G.I. Joe Collector's Club.  And to show their support of our group, each member receives a Bomber jacket with the club logo on the back for your own figure to display. The South Jersey Division of The G.I. Joe Collector's Club wants to be an active participant in local communities. To spread the excitement of what we have to offer, our club will be holding a diorama contest to take place in the summer of 2002, so look for future flyers that will explain the details. Our group will also be having field trips to area venders and retailers who specialize in G.I. Joe and 12" action figures. With the 2002 G.I Joe Convention coming in June to Norfolk, VA., our club is discussing plans to join in the excitement and go as a group to show our support. To become a member in the South Jersey Division of The G.I. Joe Collector's Club, we encourage you become a member, in good standing, with Master Collector - G.I. Joe Collector's Club. This entitles you to exclusives, like the Bomber jackets, and financial support to the Club for activities and door prizes, from the G.I. Joe Collector's Club. Our group is open to M/F of all ages, so long as you have transportation to and from the meetings. Current membership dues are $20.00 a year. We currently have standing members holding the following positions: Group Leader, Asst. Group Leader, and Secretary/Treasurer. These positions come up for election/re-election once a year in March and are open to any member in the club. Remember, this club is yours as well and needs your support.
Any and all suggestions are welcome and are considered. We recently
pitched an idea to The G.I. Joe Collector's Club director Brian
Savage, for a new box design of a Club Exclusive figure that
came out in February this year. So if this is the type of club that you have been looking for, please contact us and join in the fun. Only with the support of enthusiasts like you can our club grow.
