| I got my start in photography from my late father, Patrick "Skip" Murphy. Together we shot photos of rodeos. I loved the action of being in the arena with the bulls and the broncs. Up close and personal. Photographs of Cowboys and Cowgirls, was our passion. We worked for a small newspaper (Mid-America Rodeo news) which served cowboys and girls with all the stats, news of new equipment and some really great photographers. We were the only Official Photographers for the N.L.B.R.A. Finals for quite A few Years until Dad got sick with cancer. After that, things with the cameras have been Quiet Until My Sister started the R.M.N.F.C.@N.W. Stock show and asked if I would be there Photographer. And here we are. |
