On his newest CD, "Sky...Down the Road," 11 new songs appear, as well as 3 older ones. Sky is joined by Dan Austin (a spirit-moving harmonica player) from Seattle, Tony Magnelli (fretless bass), from Seattle's local country scene, and Shannon Ramsey (on washboard), from Seattle's Blue Healers and the Rossies.
The band's music touches back to an old-time acoustic style, blending country blues with finger pickin', toe tappin', 'can't help but feel good' music. A couple of tunes are done with an old style slide, and the lyrics are some of the best parts of the music.
