Driving Directions to Start Line

To the start at Lake Chabot Marina:

From the North (San Francisco, Oakland), take I-580 east to the Fairmont Drive exit. Turn left at the second stop-light onto Fairmont.  Proceed east (uphill) for 2.5 miles on Fairmont.  About 0.3 miles past the top of the hill, you will see the entrance to the Lake Chabot Marina.  Park on the road for free, or in the Lake Chabot Marina parking lot for a small fee (supports the East Bay Regional Park District).

From the south or east (Hayward, Pleasanton), take I-580 west to the Fairmont Drive exit. Go straight through the stop sign and turn right onto Fairmont at the light.   Proceed east (uphill) for 2.5 miles on Fairmont.  About 0.3 miles past the top of the hill, you will see the entrance to the Lake Chabot Marina.  Park on the road for free, or in the Lake Chabot Marina parking lot for a small fee (supports the East Bay Regional Park District).
