Sarah Jane Smith returns home from abroad for Christmas to find her Aunt Lavinia missing, and indications that her disappearance may have been caused by a local coven of witches.  She also finds a crate containing a certain robot dog
left to her by her old friend the Doctor who may be able to help her solve the mystery...

This is a 50-minute spinoff program that was the pilot for a prospective series about Sarah and K9.  (the series was not
picked up)   The Doctor does not appear in it.
