On November the 23rd, 1988, a comet called Nemesis launched into space some 350 years earlier by the Doctor returns to the Earth, once again generating destruction in it's wake. Inside the comet is the statue of Nemesis, formed in the shape of Lady Peinforte, a 17th century witch who travels forward in time with the statue's arrow to seize control of it. She has competition, however, from a group of South American Nazis in possession of the statue's bow, and from a force of Cybermen who see the statue as the perfect weapon to enable them to transform the Earth into their new base planet...
