Serial: WW Episode Nos. 228, 229, 230, and 231. Title: The Krotons
Aeons ago, the alien Krotons crash-landed a spaceship near the city of the Gonds. The Gonds
became enthralled to the Krotons, giving them their cleverest youths to become Companions at
regular intervals in exchange for advanced knowledge via teaching machines. When the Doctor
arrives, however, he and the Gonds learn the truth of what the Krotons haven't taught them, and
what's really been happening to the Companions, and the rebellion this knowledge touches off
could bring the Krotons' wrath down on them all....
