An alien snow falls in Victorian London, forming alien snowmen that can move and attack.

The Doctor, however, has retired and doesn’t want to get involved.  A young governess

who moonlights as a barmaid, named Clara, is determined to get to the heart of the mystery

of the snow, and that of the Doctor.


starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara. Guest starring

Neve McIntosh as Madam Vastra, Catrin Stewart as Jenny, Dan Starkey as Strax, and

Richard E. Grant and Ian McKellan as the Great Intelligence.


Written by Steven Moffat and directed by Saul Metzstein.
