Living Room

Yes, we have a room without a TV! Growing up we always had the formal "living room" and then I didn't really understand it. I mean, what good was a room where there wasn't anything to DO? But now, I love my living room. Or, at least I will when I'm done working on it. It's a nice place to sit and read, relax, nap... Basically what still needs to be done (aside from getting all the boxes unpacked) is: remove the wallpaper on the one wall (paint it the color of the other walls), paint the trim white, hang the pictures, and replace the window treatments (NO VERTICAL BLINDS!). I also need a curio cabinet, but they're a little pricey... The baker's rack is going (where, we don't know) and the half-round table will take its place. I'd like a long, low bench for under the window, something to take the place of the dog's toy box/bench (which will find a new home, never fear!). And after that (not much, right?) it will be the oasis of my dreams...
