Dark Silence Station

Welcome to Dark Silence Station, an Andromeda Class space station, located on the outer edge, of the outer arm, of the Milky Way. We are closest to the Andromedean Cluster, and adjacent to the Gamma Quadrant border. Established on Stardate: 226903.10. The station's current Commanding Officer is Captain Paul Enlow, and his First Officer is Rear Admiral Will Burhans.

Now for the real scoop!

Dark Silence Station is a member of Region Two, of Starfleet International. Region Two is comprised of five zones (states), Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Carribbean (obviously not a state). We are located in Florence, Alabama. Florence is one of the Quad Cities of Northwest Alabama, also known as the Shoals. Our name, Dark Silence, was derived from the world known, "First Lady of Courage", Helen Keller. Our Formal motto, "To reach beyond our limitations, to the limitless possibilities", is based on her life. We also have an informal motto, "SS007 - Licensed To Have Fun!"

As a non-profit organization of Starfleet International, we sponsor various charities, including but not limited to, Cerebral Palsy of the Shoals, and Safeplace of the Shoals.

Every year we attend the Region Two Regional Summit, and participate in Florence's Renaissance Faire. We also try to attend local and surrounding conventions of the area. These will be listed on our calendar each month.

Dark Silence Station is a non-profit organization of Starfleet Internatinal. We are comprised of fans of Star Trek, Star Wars, Fantasy, science fiction, anime, and other genres. Our members hail from Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
