My interest in music started long ago. I can remember picking up my Mother's guitar and attempting to play it as young as four years old. I wrote my first song when I was five. I started taking piano lessons when I was 10, started playing the banjo at 11, trombone at 11, accordion at 12, and bass guitar at 15. I began getting serious about the six string and twelve string guitars when I was in my late forties. I play a little mandolin which is mainly an off shoot of knowing how to play the tenor banjo since the fingering is the same. I have a ratty little old Asian Mandolin that isn't worth talking about.
As this part of my web site grows, I'll share photos of some of the bands that I've been in, information on some of my instruments, some of the songs that I've written, and perhaps some recordings. Just click on the links and see what I have so far.
