April 15, 2002--GOOD NEWS!

When checking various publications for Fibromyalgia support groups in Colorado Springs, I found much more than I had ever realized possible with Smooth Changes. I found renewed hope with Baerbel, the owner and founder, during our initial phone conversation. She presented me with an educated, nurturing, compassionate understanding of a key healing factor -- the value of relaxation.

Although I attributed my complete condition to an old back injury, I am convinced that my first major FMS flare occurred in 1985. Through many years of living with pain, fatigue, confusion, frustration, doubt, as I searched for healing; I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1994 and went on permanent disability benefits in 1997. Fibromyalgia is a multi-faceted, elusive and foggy "dis-ease" destructive to all aspects of a person's being. By this, I mean that it can be horribly painful and devastatingly draining physically, emotionally and psychologically.

Baerbel has been sensitive to my circumstances and committed to my mission to wholeness. Her soothing voice and assuring expertise took me to light places in my subconscious mind that I could never have found alone. She is truly passionate about her work.

I attained deep relaxation and substantial pain relief during the first session with Baerbel and Smooth Changes. Every session with her is a "power hour" in a safe and comfortable environment. After four sessions, I am realizing substantial success.

I extend my appreciation to one great lady. Thank you Baerbel.

Sincerely,
Mary E. McQ., Colorado Springs CO
