The Scarlet Mask Vigilance Society is a new posse of the
National Congress of Old West Shootists. we are located approximately
eight miles east of Martinsville, Indiana. (see Map)
There are several requirements to joining the Scarlet Mask Vigilance Society and
they are:
1. You must be a member of NCOWS ($35.00 to join) to be a member of the SMVS
Posse.
2. You must be a member of the Thunder Creek Longrifles, or join ($20.00).
3. Membership in the SMVS Posse is $30.00, $35.00 family. This includes the
$20.00 membership fee to Thunder Creek Longrifles.
Joining the Thunder Creek Long Rifles gives you access to the combination lock
and the use of the 25 acre facility by you and/or your family for camping or
hunting and use of the log cabin on the upper range when there are no shooting
events going on at the range.
We are a new club and probably have one of the more convenient locations in
central Indiana to shoot.
The Scarlet Mask Vigilance Society shoots on the fourth Saturday
of the month and will hold its inaugural shoot Saturday, September 22nd, 2007.
We will be shooting four or five stages, a rifle woods walk, and a long range
rifle match in the afternoon.
A safety meeting will be held at 9:00am with shooting to start promptly at
9:30am. Lunch and soft drinks will be provided.
Shooting fees per event are as follows:
SMVS Posse Members………………….…$10.00
Non SMVS Posse, NCOWS members…..$12.00
Non NCOWS Members………..…………...$15.00
