2001 Yamaha XVS650
650 V Star Classic
It started as two-toned Stardust Silver & Green ...until I got the customizing bug!
Here are the results of my project...

Paint was done by Extreme Body & Fender in Baltimore. Base coat is pearl white covered with blue pearl. Tank has violet pearl ghost flames. Pics just don't do the paint job justice. Bike is lowered over 3" using the "Julio Slam" method...very cool mod

Yamaha Passing lamps, light bar & visors. Baron's engine guard. I changed the horn to a much louder car horn for a little added safety and covered it with a Harley chrome horn cover that I bought off of Ebay for $5.50...

Yamaha Billet mirrors & leather lever wraps. Kuryakyn ISO grips...

White Brothers Bikini Beach bars. 36" w. Electric buried in bars. I ran the wires through braided stainless plumbing line from the bars down through 2 holes drilled in top of triple tree for a clean look. All cables are Barnett SS, 2" over stock length except speedo which is stock length...

Kuryakyn Hypercharger w/Thunder Mfg adapter & stage III jet kit. Trim plate & butterflies painted with bike. The HK/HC setup ROCKS!! My thanks go out to Jeff for sharing his knowledge & encouragement. His instructions at The Green Mamba Site are indispensable!

I cut off the stock toe shifter & drilled/tapped it to add a Kuryakyn shifter peg. I also added a Kuryakyn heel shifter & brake pedal cover...

Corbin Hollywood Solo saddle. Same seat as Yamaha Boulevard Solo...

Yamaha swing arm covers & Custom World Int'l drive shaft cover...Also notice helmet lock relocation to passenger foot peg bracket...

Baron's lay down license/turn signal mount.

Fender stay bolts replaced with hex heads with chrome nut covers. Nut covers also used throughout wherever possible...drive shaft cover, battery cover, shock bolt, etc...On left fender stay I removed the helmet lock and removed the welded on lock bracket.

AIS unit & chrome tubes removed. Spigots were capped...Much cleaner look without it...

Side stand switch removed...another one of those little mods that help clean up the appearance...
