Thanks for having the PDF version of the 2010 manual here. Lost mine during one or more moves, can't find it and can't justify the $20 or so that Sony wants for 40 pages of info.
----- As long as Sony doesn't mind, I plan to keep it online.

Nice page on the 2010. Thanks for relating your experience with it.
Being a SWL/DXer since 1972, I owned a 2010 from 1988 til 1993 and loved it. It was sold in 1993 and missed
very since. After an 6 year hiatus from SWLing, I have come back to it and ordered a new 2010.
The 2010 is a great receiver, all around and I will be sure not to let this one go!!!!!

Does anyone know if newer versions of this radio still have the problem with the frontend input transistor when using an external antenna? My 2001D is nr. 333400, purchased in 1991 and after reading about this problem, Iīm a bit worried. I donīt feel myself able to measure :) so I hope anyone knows...
Nice site, by the way.

I have recently purchased an ICF-2010 and love it. I am already receiving stations from Africa and India that I could only dream about before. Even the long-wave band is capable of some pretty amazing feats. Great to have a web-site devoted to this radio. Thank you for your good work.

Something is awry with the power supply: radio is unoperable.
Your site is appreciated, I will try the links for some insight.
My Philips 3905 is my only SWR at this point: I miss my 2010!
