ANYONE with any contacts at NEUMANN homes we need your help. The GILBERTS trail system is permanently closed due to Neumanns unwillingness to discuss using any part of their land. In order to keep the trails safe we need to mark and maintain them. Without these trials, it will be a free for all and people may get hurt! Have you ever ridden the snowmobile trails from Gilberts to Huntley and to Elgin which ties into surrounding areas? Did you know these trails are marked and maintained by volunteers in the Snowhunters snowmobile club, which is based in GILBERTS? This trail may be CLOSED this year Unless the club has a few more volunteers to help mark the trail it will be closed. Please come out and have some fun with other snowmobilers. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at Brett's Bar & Grill in Gilberts for a good time, plan the trail marking, and also plan some club trips, and local rides snow permitting. Calendar of Events

The Boone County Grass drags were a HOT success this past Sunday. With temperatures around 85 to 90, Racers and fans were sweating it out.

A special thank you to Al & Lois Preston for allowing the SnowHunters to use the Moon Walk for a fund raiser. And a Very special thank you to Mark and Evan Woodbury for sitting in the sun and dealing with all the little kids!

Also a big thank you to Jack Henderson, Rich Bearzotti and Steve Paxson attending to the food tent.
