In Friendship's Light

For being a special friend, who knows just
when to call...
When the day has been most trying,
and dark clouds enter in,
it's then, you appear like a rainbow,
causing a big warm grin! :)
I appreciate your friendship,
more than you could ever know.
For without our friends, life truly,
could be a LONG and dusty road!

Here friend...
let me shake off all the dust.
Pay no attention
to the angry clashing clouds
or the piercing bolts
of uncaring words
which often greet us
in a stormy way.
Look up ahead
the sunshine wedges through
with torching colors
splashing in our view!
Sweet friend...
alone we never are
as our dusty hands hold tight.
Although the sun seems far
we walk in friendship's light!
