Friendship's Knight
your thoughts came tumbling
down the path
of my mind
drifting among the trees and leaves
like giggling thoughts often do
when tickled
by a dancing song
that whispers of gentle friendships
woven long
of knights and dragons
who happen along
bowing deeply with fire
to right every wrong
slaying injustice
that threatens prolong
the mystery is heard
in an ancient song
to you, my friend
they all belong!
