The Enchanting Air Dances A Whispering Tune

Maybe Tomorrow

waiting to share my love
waiting in the shadowed light
waiting for a mated dove

wanting scenes from a mountain peak
wanting the senses to flip in delight
wanting to feel a soft gentle cheek

whispering winds tickle in wisdom
whispering rain drum-dances a beat
whispering leaves flutter in rhythm

wake from this wistful dreamer's dream
wake and  look at life's mirrored deeds
wake content to breathe a wrinkled gleam

wonder at the smallness in each thought
wonder how nature knows each clue
wonder if "nothing," is what I sought

willing adventurous thoughts to fly
willing hopes to capture the sky
willing to learn when asking why

maybe tomorrow...
