Together
Hugs are sent to hear a sigh
to brighten your day and lift you high.
Your smile is my only claim,
hand in hand we'll laugh in the rain
dancing in step as the clouds roll by.
With your hand to hold and touch
no treasure could compare as much.
For that alone would fill my days
writing verse and words of praise
in tribute to the hand I clutch.
