Wild Kale Mix
Brassica

I
bought the "Wild Garden Kale Mix" from Shepherd's Seeds
last year and let the resulting plants go to seed, so your guess
is as good as mine as to what these plants will look like. Go to
Shepherd's
Seeds and do a search for "kale" to see the original
seed mixture. |

Cleome
Cleome
spinosa |
Also
known as the Spider Flower, these heat and drought tolerant plants
are topped with an ever-lengthening cluster of 6-8 inch spidery
blossoms from early summer until frost. Cleomes look good planted
among perennials and they are doubly striking when planted alone
in large blocks. Attracts hummingbirds. Self sows. See link
for a picture. |
