Our Story
Financial planning and debt management books, audio tapes and seminars often tell you financial independence and freedom from debt only happens to those who are willing to stop spending and save as much as possible for tomorrow.
Our service is based on the idea that you have everything that is needed to achieve financial independence without sacrificing how you live today. It's all about rearranging the pieces so they suit your lifestyle.
We encourage people to keep what they have, just use a portion of the money they're already living without (high interest, taxes, overpayment, fees) and put it toward the future. You don't have to sacrifice the present to build for the future.
And, we show you a way to create wealth by simply helping others do the same.

We want to level the playing field -- to give you all of the tools you need to achieve financial independence, financial security, and financial success.

Stephen R. Smith - Chairman
Steve Smith's depth of experience in business -- especially his expertise in the business of network marketing -- is a key contributor to the success of EverydayWealth. Steve created and implemented the marketing plan that built Excel Communications into a billion and a half dollar public corporation and one of the largest telecommunications companies in the U.S. in just seven years. No one is more dedicated than Steve in teaching others how to create personal wealth.
The founder of SRS Management, LLC and several other property and investment companies, Steve's pursuits include significant investments in oil and gas exploration, banking, consumer finance and golf course development and ownership.
Steve applied his business acumen to the direct selling/network marketing industry, recognizing early on that network marketing methods were more ideally suited to services rather than products. The same network marketing system that Steve invented and implemented at Excel Communications has been applied to EverydayWealth. He believes EverydayWealth will be the greatest network marketing opportunity ever, bringing personal wealth to Americans, one family at a time.

Steve Gurasich - Board Member
Steve is Co-founder and Chairman of GSD&M. He and his partners turned a small advertising agency into a billion dollar powerhouse. No one knows better than Steve how to turn a good idea into a brand name.
Several years ago I met Bill Hillestad, one of the original founders, who shared his idea with me. I thought there was a nucleus to a truly visionary idea. One that would definitely stand apart because it could potentially help millions of American families deal with their debt.
We took the original idea and we talked to consumers about it. As Sam Walton once told us, consumers have all the answers and when you have a question you go and talk to them. Consumer feedback was incredibly insightful and very positive. It demonstrated that EverydayWealth would resonate and connect with people; it would compel them and potentially create a buzz in the marketplace. There are very few brands that will do that.
When people saw what the service was and what the business opportunity was they were extremely passionate about it. When you look at a brand, any brand, ask yourself this one question... if the brand didn't exist would it be missed? My contention and the findings of all of our consumer research is that EverydayWealth would not only be missed, but it would be sorely missed. I think in the future people are going to be passionate about this brand, because of what it is going to do for them, and then they are automatically going to tell others about it.
EverydayWealth's goal is to help the average American recapture the American dream of financial security, one family at a time. It's incremental progress. It's incremental steps. Ultimately what we have to do is create a bond with our members and our reps that goes beyond attributes and benefits and becomes, in a very real sense, a movement.
Since EverydayWealth launched, it has grown rapidly. I think as EverydayWealth moves forward, its guiding star, which basically emanates from the brands core purpose, will have to continue to do what is right for the customer, always do what's right for people. When you do, success always follows.

William E. Hillestad - Founder
After a career in the lending industry, Bill Hillestad learned first hand how some industry professionals used predatory lending practices against consumers, resulting in higher than necessary interest payments, hidden fees, and creating unnecessary debt. He wanted to level the playing field by giving Americans the knowledge, tools and systems to fight back, reduce debt and achieve financial independence.
Bill combined his creativity and technical competency in bringing large-scale marketing endeavors to life with his commitment to reducing American debt, and the result is EverydayWealth.
Bill has a proven track record for turning creative marketing concepts into highly successful business ventures. He is the founder of NexGen Marketing, a consulting firm focused on database marketing and voicemail broadcast technology. Under his direction, the firm grossed more than $100,000 in only its first month of operation landing a number of Fortune 500 companies as long-term clients.

Why We're Different
Compare our simple, comprehensive service with other services that you may have seen. You'll quickly conclude that there is no comparison.

Our Service
What You've Seen Elsewhere
Simple. One easy-to-follow path to take. No complex, life-changing actions needed to plan for your future.
Complex. Too many steps asking you to make drastic changes in your life, sacrificing the present to build a future.
Systematic. We provide the tools and a customized plan of action to help you achieve financial independence based on your
personal information.
Theoretical. Lots of theories and generalizations about finances and relatively little real guidance or planning.
Affordable. At just $14.50 per month, our comprehensive service is a real value. Just buying your credit report each month
would cost you almost that much. And we provide so much more.
Expensive. A great financial planner can be a great asset. But how many professionals do you know who would work for less
than $15 per month?
Relationship. We're on your side. And we're with you every step of the way. We set you on a path to achieving financial
independence-an ongoing process that should not be seen as an immediate or unrealistic "fix" for your future. We're for real.
Trickery. Amazing offers and immediate quick fixes to credit and debt problems, which in reality only confuse and frustrate
you. If the offer claims to be "too good to be true" then it probably is.
Time Saver. We have spent millions in developing the system so that it does a lot of the work for you. The system only requires one or two hours of your time a month. |
Work. While other services might have a lot of information, you still have to do all of the work. |
