About Unlimited Color
Company owner
Rebecca Bushner
Rebecca Bushner has been
playing with color in the context of manufacturing and application since 1988.
For many years, she worked as a color designer, production manager, and raw materials
buyer for a glass tableware manufacturer. While at the glass company, she
learned all about color use in product design and manufacturing, as well as the
differences in various pigments and colorants used in ceramic glazes and glass
enamels.
Several years ago, Rebecca
became interested in how color can be used to enhance the salability of a
product and also how it can create ambiance in a room or enhance a company
logo. She discovered a group of professionals teaching others about color in a
way that incorporates science, research, and psychology with good design and
takes some of the mystery out of color. The organization is the International
Association of Color Consultants/Designers (IACC) and
is the only organization in the world that certifies color consultants.
Company Focus
Unlimited Color has two
main areas of focus:color specification for architectural spaces
and color specification for product design, especially tabletop and home
accessories.
This latter category
incorporates design and color trend information a manufacturer or distributor
may need in order to keep on the forefront with their product mix in the
marketplace. The latter, especially for residential interiors, incorporates a
very personal approach to color design and understanding the client’s needs and
personal tastes.
Rebecca can and does work
remotely on certain types of projects as well as travels and will meet in
person for “house call” residential or commercial projects in the Tucson, Arizona area.
