Color Organizations

CMG: The Color Marketing Group.    A professional organization that does color and design trend forecasting for almost every category of consumer and commercial product.

ISCC: The Inter-Society Color Counsel.    A group of color professionals in various fields including scientific research and psychology.

IACC: International Association of Color Consultants/Designers. A professional organization that focuses mainly on color for architectural space and color education. Started in 1957.

IACC- Asia/Japan    This site has information about IACC and the Asian association. Some of it is in English.

CAUS   Color Association of the United States. A color forecasting service organization. Since 1915.

ICA   International Colour Authority. A forecasting organization that focuses on fashion clothing and textiles. Located in London, England.

Color Tools

Pantone products.   Pantone creates tools for many designers, such as color swatch books in various materials, software, and has consulting services. Their swatch books and tools are used in many design fields.

X-Rite Inc.  Computerized color measurement tools.

VisiBone.  Color tools for web designers. Excellent products and friendly service!

GreytagMacbeth.   Manufactures color measuring devices, software, and lighting systems. Often give educational seminars, which I highly recommend if you are interested in the scientific aspect of color and measurement.

Pointcarré textile software.   Software for textile designers and weavers.

GE ColorXpress.   Color swatches, matching, and management mainly for polymers and thermoplastic resins. A subsidiary of General Electric.

The Color Wheel Company.    Just like it sounds. They manufacture color wheels for different needs, including one in Spanish and a special one for children.
