     Pink
Pink is a chameleon color. It can be forever young when pale or sexy when it is bright shocking pink, or deep fuchsia.  Pink is almost universally perceived as a feminine color. It is a tint of racy red or can considered a 'real' color when it is magenta: one of the primary colors used in the printing industry for four color process along with cyan, yellow, and black.

Light pinks such as plastic lawn flamingo pink can look cheap. But deep, modified pinks such as rose madder or purplish pinks can be sensual and warm. Pale pinks are all frilly and sugary, sweetly scented of roses and sugared violets.

Light and mid-toned pinks are cosmetic colors, candy colors, and little-girl colors. Deep, dark pinks can be exotic when seen in an antique sari woven with gold threads or in tropical hibiscus or Hawaiian ginger. Or deeper pinks can be country-fresh like chintz upholstery covered with cabbage roses.

In Japan, pink signifies 'happiness', while the rest of the world sees yellow as the happiest color.
