      Soyuz TM-33 (Taxi 2) / ESA Andromeda Mission

Mission Details:

Launch: October 21, 2001
Following the fly-around of the station, the Soyuz TM-33 spacecraft approached the free nadir port of the ISS Functional Cargo Block Zarya.

French astronaut Claudie Haignere (flight engineer,
representative of the European Space Agency) carried out an expermient program (Andromeda) which carried forward a long history of European cooperation in manned spaceflight with Russia which had its first manned flight on the Salyut 7 space station.
The crew exchanged custom seat liners with the Soyuz TM-32, and returned to Earth in TM-32. After 10 days in space, 8 days on the station, the taxi crew landed normally in Kazakstan Oct. 30.
