Brit Trivia is a trivia game for Windows. Categories include Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Robin of Sherwood, Blakes 7, and Monty Python's Flying Circus. Play against the computer or a friend. Thrill to the theme tunes and audible feedback as you answer trivia questions! (The game doesn't require a sound card, but it's more fun if you have one.) High scores are entered in the Hall of Fame, and there's even a hidden surprise or two. The BRITZIP.ZIP file is a compressed archive containing all the game files. It's about about 900K in size. You'll need the PKUNZIP u ility to expand the files. After expanding the Brit Trivia files, read the READTHIS.TXT file for further info. (If you don't have PKUNZIP, click here for more info.) | Unauthorized X-Files Trivia is a trivia game for Windows. There are
categories for each season and a general category. Play against the computer
or a friend. Thrill to the theme tune and audible feedback as you answer trivia
questions! (The game doesn't require a sound card, but it's more fun if you
have one.) High scores are entered in the Hall of Fame, and there's even a
hidden surprise or two. And here's the best part. It's free!!! The Current Version (V2.0) has been updated with a new category for season 4. The UXF.ZIP file is a compressed archive containing all the game files. It's about 528K in size. You'll need the PKUNZIP utility to expand the files. After expanding the Unauthorized X-Files Trivia files, read the READIT.TXT file for further info. You'll also need VBRUN300.DLL on your computer to use the game. (If you don't have PKUNZIP or VBRUN300.DLL, click herefor more info.) Click here to Download UXF.ZIP
| Mick's Interactive TARDIS Screen Saver is a silly bit of free software for
Windows. Sure, it's childish. The TARDIS appears. You blast it. There
should be better things for you to do with your time. On the other hand... It's fun! The TARDIS appears! You blast it! And since it's technically a screen saver, it's actually good for your monitor! (We won't tell your boss that computer monitors have not suffered from 'burn-in' since the days of Pong!) Version 2.0 replaces that yucky old grey background with a lovely star-filled sky. The TARDISAV.ZIP file is a compressed archive containing the TARDIS screen saver files. It's about about 32K in size. You'll need the PKUNZIP utility to expand the files. After expanding the screen saver files, read the README.TXT file for installation instructions. You'll also need VBRUN300.DLL on your computer to use the game. (If you don't have PKUNZIP or VBRUN300.DLL, click here for more info.) Click here to download TARDISAV.ZIP
| BritClub has been removed. `twas a somewhat useful little database, but it
did require downloading. Instead, I recommend the Fandom Directory. It's
online and therefor more convenient for the vast majority of folks.

All of the programs available for download here are archived. They require
PKUNZIP or WINZIP to 'unzip' them. Don't have PKUNZIP or WINZIP? You can download the evaluation version of WINZIP
here. You'll also need VBRUN300.DLL on your computer to use any of these programs. VBRUN300.DLL is also commonly available from many sources. Most computers probably already have it. (For instance, if you have already downloaded Brit Trivia, you have VBRUN300.DLL.) If yours doesn't, you can download it from another site by clicking here . After downloading VBRUN300.EXE, run it to extract VBRUN300.DLL. |
