The
default color selections on the TomTom ONE LE are limited. I
have found a few places on the web in which
somebody took thetime to generate more
interesting custom color choices for us all to
use on our TomToms.
The following instructions describe how to add these color schemes to
your
TomTom:
1.
Find a color
scheme of your choosing and download to your PC. A
couple websites that have colors are:
4. Using
Windows Explorer, find your TomTom device (it will have the little red
TomTom icon next to it:)
5. Click the
little "+" sign next to the TomTom icon to expand the folders:
6. Create a folder named in the root folder of your
TomTom if it doesn't already exist.
7. Copy all files
downloaded in Step #1 (*.clr) into the folder on your TomTom.
8. On your
windows lower right icon task menu, click on the safely remove hardware
icon:
9. When
Windows states it is safe to remove your hardware, disconnect your
TomTom from your PC.
10. Follow
the instructions in the owner's manual to select a different color.
Your new color scheme will now
be one of the
selections.

- You
must click on in the color
scheme selection window
- Scroll
to the left or right until you find the Plug-In Scheme window:
- Click on and you will see the list of your custom
schemes:
- Click
on the scheme of your
choice and your TomTom will begin using your custom colors!
