Good day everyone!

My name is Steve Brooks. I am 45 years old and have a great job,  a nice house, greatly loved animals. I also perform quite often in a band called Splash out of Richmond, Virginia. The other night on the way home from a show, I reflected on how good life is but I felt like something was missing. I wanted to make a difference! I wanted to come up with an idea that would really matter. Not to everyone but maybe just to someone. Well lo and behold the tools i need were right here at my fingertips. This computer!

Being I love to work on computers and I love animals and I love to play music, I decided to create a concept for musicians to raise money for organizations which save pets from being euthanized. Please visit www.musiciansforlife.net to read more and help save pets from being euthanized.

"All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to stand by and do nothing."
— Edmund Burke

Sincerely,

Steve Brooks

Volunteer at RAL
The Richmond Animal League is very fortunate to have a roster of over 100 dedicated, animal loving volunteers, but we can always use more. We have volunteers who tend to our animals; serve as adoption counselors; participate in fundraising activities and special events as well as serve on various committees.
how to volunteer

Foster Animals for RAL
Our volunteer foster parents extend our reach by providing temporary homes for young animals and animals in need when our facility is full. Fostering is a tremendously rewarding experience and most of our foster parents foster animals over and over again.
