Background: After searching for several years for an acceptable patch to wear on my vest commemorating service in Somalia, and not finding a one, I decided to design, copyright, and produce my own. At the time orders were limited to quantities of 50 so I sold the remainder and was surprised at the out pouring of interest from others who also were looking for a Somalia Patch. I now keep a stockage on hand and will continue to have them made as long as there is an interest. This is a nonprofit venture and above all an honor for me to do this for fellow veterans and a small token of respect for the service and sacrifices of all Somalia veterans from all branches of the services, worldwide, as well as civilians who served.

"Land of Unknown"
(Music Video link)
Pack your bags boy and say goodbye
Kiss the babies before they cry
gotta stay down low or you could die
Uncle Sam's its time fly away to, The Land of Unknown
****
Touch down fast and low no time to tell
If it was day or night or the fire of hell
Dead man walking thousand yard stare
Comin to get you son, better beware
While you're serving in, The Land of Unknown
****
Clock is ticking from slow to fast
You're in a time warp but it won't last
Try to get where you've been from in your past
Better dry your eyes and get your gun
While you're serving in, The Land of Unknown
****
Pack his bags boy he's gonnin home
Folded flag, polished boots and chrome
See the babies cry their daddy's home
Will the soul of freedom ever be found
To those living in the Land of
Unknown?
