OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Sprout Family Llamas is not a "production" farm. We feel it would
put too much pressure on to sell, regardless of the
consequences to the llama. We enjoy our llamas and have
chosen to keep most of them. However, occasionally one of our
llamas and a visitor will just "click." In those cases, we've
agreed to sell after lengthy discussion about the suitability of
the match. We do carefully screen our buyers. The last thing we
want is an unhappy llama because he/she was placed in the
wrong home.

Additionally in the past, we've bred a couple of our adult females
each year and those babies sometimes become available for
sale when the youngster has been weaned and has reached one
year of age. We especially enjoy placing a llama in a 4H home.
Llamas and kids make a wonderful combination. However, this
requires a commitment by the buyer. What will happen to this
llama when the youngster outgrows 4H? Or goes away to
college? Some people don't consider llamas live to be twenty
plus years old.

If we don't have exactly what you're looking for in a llama, We're happy to
refer you to a reputable breeder nearby.
We provide *after-sale* support for new owners who need advice about caring
for their llamas. We are located in Western Washington and prefer homes
within driving distance so we can excersize visiting priveleges.
The following llamas are
currently offered:
We will not place a *lone* llama with a buyer unless that llama will
have a flock of sheep or goats to guard AND he has demonstrated
characteristics suitable for "guarding."
We believe in full disclosure
