Mom...

There's not going to be a way that I'll be able to express everything that made Mom special, because she was made of so many different parts that it makes it difficult.  Some of you had met Mom, so you know.  I was her son, the first one, she had two altogether, and she didn't love either of us any more or less.  She was strong and determined, and sometimes a bit stubborn.  There were times in my life, that she would be irritating, but even those times she was still Mom, and I loved her.  Never in my life did I ever feel that I wanted to stay away from her.  She made me feel like a person, that there was worth to me, even when I was doing stupid stuff in my life, she stood by me, behind me, or wherever I needed her.

Mom002.jpg (29307 bytes) Mom's Nursing Graduation Picture.  Mom was a nurse, it was her passion.  She worked very hard to get through school to get her nursing degree.  And she did this while raising myself and Bruce with the help of her parents and my grandparents.

DebVacation20010108.jpg (59563 bytes) This was when Debbie was on vacation in Seattle.  We stopped in Roslyn to have lunch and get a picture taken in front of the Roslyn Cafe that was used in the show Northern Exposure.
MomHappyBouseAZ.jpg (98473 bytes) This is a picture taken of in early 2002.  Mom and Dad were traveling in the Southern States, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and such.  Mom absolutely loved the traveling because she didn't have any days where she felt bad while she was traveling, and she was happy.  My Dad took care of her and pampered her all the time while they were traveling, cooking, and sharing the chores around the house.  I fully supported their traveling because that is what she wanted to do, and I know that Mom supported me in the things that I wanted to do that made me happy and that were good for me.

These are the obituaries that shows in the Spokane WA and Casper WY newspapers.  I wrote one of them, and Debbie wrote the other one.  It's funny, that Debbie and I picked practically the same picture for them.
