Feel free to check the "For Students" section of this site. Even though it says it's for students, it has lots of things that you'd be interested in too. There's a special section on what's needed if your son or daughter needs a math recommendation for public or private school applications.

How to reach me

If you need to reach me, the best way is to send e-mail to David.Srebnick@ssdsboston.org. You may also call me at school (617) 928-9100, extension 4583 and leave voice mail.

I will check e-mail and voice mail at least once a day, and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.

I have no formal e-mail policy for parents or students, but the following are some guidelines:

	E-mail is best used for quick communication... to tell me you'd like to talk with me on the phone, to alert me to an upcoming absence or problem, or to give me feedback on what's going on in class. I prefer to use the phone for having discussions about grades, problems in class, etc.
	When students aren't sure what the homework is, they should check HomeworkNow.com or call their study buddies. I will not respond to e-mail requests for homework assignments unless I neglect to post the assignment on homeworknow.com (which, of course, I'll try not to do). In that case, I'll post the assignment as quickly as I can and let them know. Students always have the option of calling "study buddies" if they're not sure about an assignment.
	For now, I will not give extra help or answer homework questions by e-mail. I make time during lunch, choice, office hours and free periods to do this.
