Excel-Based Sudoku Game
I've used Visual Basic for Applications (vba)
coding in MS Excel to create a Sudoku game that generates infinite puzzles. As you try to solve each one, you can always ask the computer
if you're right so far, or you can get small or big hints that'll help you master simple yet powerful strategies. You can also manually enter
any Sudoku puzzle published elsewhere, and the computer will solve it in about a minute. I know of no other Sudoku available (certain not for free!) with these features.

RIGHT CLICK on the Download Now link below, select "Save Target As...," and save
the file sudoku.xls to your hard drive.
2)
Open MS Excel. Make sure the security is set to Medium
(from the main Excel menu, choose Tools, Macro, Security, Security Level,
Medium).
3) From the
main Excel menu, choose File, Open and open the sudoku.xls file. You must choose to "enable" macros when prompted.
