Inn Description

Built in the mid-late 19th century the Moonlite Inn has undergone a facelift and additions to bring it to its present state. Though improvements were made in 2003, the Inn retains the country, farm appearance for which the area is noted. The interior of the house reflects the country charm of the exterior. Warm and romantic, the Inn is filled with country and antique accents. The Inn's two fireplaces and Glenwood stove strongly add to the inviting and cozy atmosphere.

Located on ten acres, the Moonlite Inn holds the best of both worlds. Its pastoral setting and intimate charm offer a pleasant respite for those on vacation, business, or short trips. Its proximity to the cities of Providence, RI, Taunton, and Attleboro make it convenient to shopping, business meetings, sightseeing, etc. Further, the Inn's convenient location to several colleges and universities provide an ideal opportunity for guests to be near enough to those schools while still enjoying a quiet escape.

For whatever reason, a stay at the Moonlite Inn is an experience unique and special.

The Moonlite Inn is an intimate and inviting home, and hosts, Robyn and Stan Franczyk have paid special attention to ensure that each room of the inn welcomes guests with a sense of warmth and comfort.

The Inn, itself, has three guest rooms each with en suite facilities. These rooms are located on the second floor. There is also a small sitting area with cable television, VCR and CD available to guests.

The first floor of the Inn contains the keeping room, where a homemade breakfast is served. (Often breakfast is cooked on the Glenwood stove in the adjacent kitchen.) This room offers beam ceilings, a fireplace, a small sitting area, and views of the central garden.

Also located on the first floor is a reading lounge. This room, reminiscent of old English pubs, boasts a beam ceiling, fireplace, window seats, bookcases and small bar.

The Inn has an 18' x 30' above ground pool for guest use. However, guests are cautioned that they use the pool at their own risk. Guests at the Inn are also welcome to enjoy the several trails that meander through the property or the several gardens that surround the Inn. As an added treat, guests can view the several animals that comprise the inn's farm. Guests will get the opportunity to meet the patriarch of the menagerie, Dylan the Nubian goat and resident ambassador.

All these components contribute to the charm that is the M
oonlite Inn. It is easy to recognize, upon entering, that the Inn's relaxed atmosphere is in stark relief to the hectic world that occupies most of our lives.
