I need creative outlets.  Photography helps me with that.  I've been an amateur photographer since 1970.  I had a good friend, a long time ago that had a darkroom. He taught me a lot about using a camera and processing film and prints.  Thank you Howie.

Over the years I've been taking pictures as much as I can.  For many years I took pictures of my family as my son and daughter grew up.  Of course I took pictures to express myself as well, but many from those years are family snapshots.  Recently, I bought a slide scanner and have started to use Photoshop and am getting back into photography as a serious hobby.

I hang out here a lot.
