Open Water Diver Certification The PADI open water diver certification is t
he most recognized scuba diver certification in the world . I specialize in private lessons and will only teach to groups of friends or family , such as parents and children or siblings. My class size is limited 1 to 4 people per class maximum- no exceptions.
The only difference in the Jr Open water certification card and the Open water certification is divers 12 to 14 years of age are qualified to dive only when accompanied by another certified diver who is of legal age.

We are lucky in Florida to dive 365 days a year , even in the coldest part of winter it is merely wetsuit conditions.  How long will it take? That depends on the schedule of the student, we will need to complete 5 pool sessions , each session will take about an hour, before each pool session we will study the student manual and take 4 quizzes and 1 final exam. Then we will schedule a weekend for the 4 -5 open water dives, of course that's all depending on the weather and the new divers schedules. How much will it costs? The costs for adults is $380.00 during non-wetsuit months and $450.00 during wetsuit season (water below 70f ) this fee includes PADI open water crew pack, rental BC , rental regulator, gauges , and tanks. Mask fins and snorkel is available , but, highly recommend for student to purchase their own. Students of Riverview High school receive discount and family members and friends taking course together receive discount call for specials. Class size is 1 student to 4 students maximum, if more than one students they will need to be friends or family. |
