The Signs of West Stadium Blvd. at Night

I am not sure why I created this web page. I walk with my wife on West Stadium Blvd. after dinner four times a week during the winter, so I have been looking at these commercial signs for years. Some of them are ordinary, but some use artistic graphical elements. They are bright, for the most part, and hard to miss. There clearly isn't any burning need to reproduce them here, but it seemed like a good way to capture the flavor of our nightly winter walks. Also, I was playing with all the features on my digital camera, and used this project as an excuse to try out some things I had not done before.

All of these signs are graphical creations. Rights to these creations remain with the respective copyright, trademark, and service mark owners. They are all shown on the street for public display, and I wish to capture the public street scene here. So I have taken the liberty of capturing them from public property, and reproducing them here, in the same order that they appear on the street. While I don't own the rights to the graphics that appear in these signs, the photographs themselves are all copyright 2006, by me, Steven R. Weiss. I reserve all rights to the use of these photos, so contact me if you have an issue with what I have done using your sign, or if you want to use one of these images in some other way.

This is a work in progress. Some of the photos did not come out well and were not used. I may take them again. I apologize if your business is here but your sign is missing. Currently, the page only goes from around Arbordale Blvd. northwest to S. Maple Rd. It could start farther southeast, at Pauline Blvd., but if it went farther northwest, it would no longer be Stadium Blvd. I still might do it anyway, but for now, it is limited to these boundaries.
