PRIVACY & SECURITY POLICY
Thank you for visiting Chappelle’s Travel Engine’s (CTE) Web site and reviewing our Privacy and Security Policy.
We remind you that if you link to a site outside of CTE, you are subject to the policies
of the site in which you have launched. Here is how we handle information provided to our company and Web site:
If You Provide Us With Personal Information
You do not have to provide any personal information to visit this Web site. If you choose to provide
us with personal information, such as sending a message via eMail or by filling out a registration form
and submitting it through our Web site, or fax, we will use that information to respond to your message,
or to fulfill the stated purpose of the communication. If you provide your name, address, eMail and other
personal profile data, CTE will not sell, rent, or give your information to anyone for
commercial marketing.
Your privacy is protected even after our services have been fulfilled, and/or you decide to close
your account with us.
Use of Personal Information Maintained
Personally identifiable information may be used by CTE to communicate with you
about your account, or to provide you with prompt and effective customer service. We also reserve the
right to inform you about services related to CTE. However, you will have the option
of opting out of further communications of this type by using the “Safe Unsubscribe” link located on all
electronic mail, or by sending an eMail to: unsubscribetravel@comcast.net.
Disclosure of Personal Information Maintained
CTE may disclose personally identifiable information about you to Third Parties
with your consent as it may facilitate a transaction or communication necessary to provide services to
you or to us, and only under the strictest confidentiality restrictions.
Please be advised that we believe it necessary to comply with the law including court and government orders, and civil
subpoenas. Consequently, if you partake, or we reasonably suspect that you are partaking in
any illegal or potentially illegal activity, we may disclose personal information even without a
subpoena, warrant, or other court order, to the extent we feel is necessary to inform and
cooperate with law enforcement agencies, or other appropriate authorities. We believe it
necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of CTE, our users, and others.
Additionally, CTE will release client personal information to the
Centers for Disease Control and Provention (CDC)
or any state or local public health agency in the event that an official requests it.
Security
Please remember that electronic mail is not necessarily secure against interception and is
beyond CTE's control. Despite the precautions we take to protect your
personal information, the unfortunate fact is that there is simply no such thing as a perfectly
secured system. Moreover, we have no control over the security of the Internet in general.
As a result, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will never gain access to your
transmissions or information, or that personal information will never be compromised in ways
not covered by this Privacy and Security Policy. If your communication is sensitive or includes
personal information you may prefer to send it by postal mail instead.
CTE may contain links to other Internet Web sites. Unless we explicitly
state otherwise, we have no control over these third party sites and their privacy practices.
This Privacy and Security Policy applies only to information you provide in connection with
the use of this Site. You should review third party privacy policies in connection with visiting the Sites.
Chappelle's Travel Engine reserves the right to amend this Privacy and Security Policy
as deemed appropriate without prior notice or liability.
