Revenge From Mars (Pinball 2000)

Just got this machine from the 2005 Hershey Expo.  I figured I needed one of the Pinball 2000 games for the diversity.  I wanted to go with a Revenge From Mars since I had a lead on a Star Wars Episode 1 playfield/rom set to be able to convert at a later time.  That is something I will consider at a later time.  First I need to get this machine put back together and tested.  I know there were a number of problems reported by the diagnostic menu.  I expect they are all easy fixes.  It will also need a good cleaning.  I guess you get what you pay for -- and in this case I got a good discount due to the work needed.

Got the machine back together.  The test report indicated about 15 bulbs out and four switches.  Playing and testing it some more, I found a few more intermittent switches.  Ended up changing two switches out (one had a broken lever, which I should have just changed that).  I also adjusted the other switches and they are working better now, though one seemed to be a little flakey and may need replaced.  I also replaced all the burned lamps except the one pop bumper buried under the ramp.  This looks like it will be a real pain.  the machine still needs to be stripped and get a really good cleaning, but that will have to wait, especially since I just spent two days cleaning Black Knight.

I also have a replacement playfield glass (with logo) since my existing one is scratched up.  However, in the current light you can hardly tell so I have not installed the new glass.  It is sitting next to the other 3-4 playfield glasses I have had in reserve for years :->
