Wildlife (gone)
I rescued this pinball from a backyard shed. It looks like it was left out in the rain for a good period of time. About half of the back glass paint was gone, the bottom of the cabinet was rotted and fell out after moving it. Many of the components had (and still have) a good deal of rust. However the playfield itself looks beautiful. I have started working on bringing this machine back to life, and now have it so it "starts" and some of the game functions. This is going to be a long slow project... but it should be a good learning machine. The wife even repainted the back glass, and has done a good job for her first time (and hopefully not last).
Left this project sitting for too long -- back to the does not even start category. Have actually considered selling this one for parts. I just hate to see a machine die a permanent death. I also like showing off the backglass touch up (ok, repainting) the wife did...)
Well, we came up with a new plan for this machine -- we gave it to my brother and sister in-law for Christmas. The machine was up and running and playing (though a number of light sockets are still toast). It was a novel idea that we came up with before learning they are expecting there second child and are converting their basement to additional living space -- but we gave them the machine still as I am sure he and the children (as they get older) will really like it.
